Check out all the books on this list and buy them.

I read for pleasure again! WOW. I forgot how awesome that is. And since my last class is next Thursday, I have the entire month of December to write one final paper, be at home with my family, and READ READ READ READ READ until the end of the year. It’s going to be amazing.

I can’t say I actually enjoyed a ton of the books I read this month (four stand out as actually worthwhile and actually things I’d recommend that others read), but I’m still glad I read them, because I realize I am so much happier, not to mention much more productive at everything in life, when I get to read what I want. And since this semester has been so frustrating and difficult, not just in school but in life, that’s really been good for me.

Also, did you see that I did not buy any books this month? And if I buy books next month, it will be in the context of being at home and being able to go to Bookmans again, so that’s a win right there, too. 😀

(Oh, and hey! Look at me featured at this other blog, Auntie Karen’s Book Pile!)
